RAT improved the RC-3 w/ Jump-Proof MOLLE Sheath System after noting improvements offered to us by soldiers and cops in the field. RAT Cutlery took the popular RAT-3, added 3/8" of handle length, a glass-breaking pommel, larger handle screws, then differentially heat-treated the 1095 carbon steel and dressed up the Micarta slabs to build the RAT RC-3 survival knife. The RC-3MIL was previously available to law enforcement and military only. During that time it became the official knife of numerous law enforcement groups and special teams. It is now available to the general public.
