The Opinel Pocket Knife is a member of the reknowned knife family manufactured since the 1890s in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne in the Savoie region of France. Simple yet effective in design, these knives feature a unique locking system in which the blade is unfolded and then the stainless locking ring is spun to create virtually fixed blade strength. This model features a carbon steel blade and a pearwood handle.
