The Cold Steel Recon 1 Tactical Knife is as tough as nails and will cut like a chain saw. Every facet of its construction has been over engineered to make it as strong, durable and effective as humanly possible. The blade is made out of AUS 8A stainless steel - vacuum heat treated and sub zero quenched, then given a Teflon finish. The handles feature G-10 laminate scales with heat treated steel liners and five locking bolts. The Knife features the revolutionary Ultra Lock, which practically precludes lock failure. Each Recon 1 comes equipped with a reversible steel pocket clip.
