| The byrd Cara Cara Rescue Knife features a hollow-ground Sheepfoot, safety shaped 8Cr13Mov stainless steel blade with a round tip so do not have to worry about poking or puncturing inflatable watercraft, livestock or people. The fiberglass reinforced nylon handle is Bi-Directionally Textured and has jimping above the Comet Shaped Hole and along the finger choil for ergonimic comfort. Also included is a four-way clip that carries right or lefthand and tip-up or tip-down. A half-moon of steel removed from the locking lever (called a David Boye Dent) lessens the chance of gripping the knife tightly enough during use to inadvertently unlock the blade. |
